This course covers the basics of performing a urinalysis. It includes an introduction to terminology surrounding the urinalysis as well as methods used. There is a detailed materials list and explanations of the three major components of the urinalysis. The course also covers the importance of the urinalysis as a diagnostic tool. There are helpful photos and diagrams for identifying different elements that may be present in the microscopic evaluation and useful background information regarding the physical and chemical portions of the test. This course is for any beginner or experienced vet tech who wants to have a deeper understanding of the urinalysis and it's ins and outs.
